“When I first arrived at Doves Haven, weary from years of ministry in hard places and in need of emotional and spiritual refreshment—I immediately sensed the wondrous, welcoming grace & goodness of God’s majestic presence! There it was; a little slice of heaven, tucked away deep in the heart of Texas, just outside the busy streets and town of Tyler.

My parched soul was literally washed and refreshed by the surprising splendor of the natural grounds—abundant wooded acres of sheer serenity! My heavy heart was lifted and engulfed by the modest majesty, as I followed the gently curving drive toward the grand, yet warm and ever so inviting, cottage-mansion! My spirit felt bathed in the tender love & attentiveness of “the God who sees me,” as I was so graciously greeted & drawn into this magnificent home by the owner Joya, who had prepared an honorary high-tea, for me. Both, her heart & this home are beyond beautiful! God’s provision for her incredible vision to create a Christ-centered venue of memorable excellence, is breath-taking and utterly inspiring!
